To disable a user account in Windows 7
On the start menu, Right click Computer and click Manage
In the left pane of the Computer Management window, Click Local users and Groups,
In the center pane, double click the user’s folder
Double click the user’s name of the account you want to disable
In the properties dialog box, select the accounts is disabled check box, and then click ok
Close the Computer Management window
The account no longer appears in the Mange Accounts window of control panel
Remember
Even though the account is disabled , all the user's files and folders are still on the computer
