removing mail from outlook server

Outlook 2007 2010
  1. Select Tools>Account Settings.
  2. Under Name, select your email account and click Change.
  3. Click More Settings.
  4. Click the Advanced Tab and under Delivery, select Leave a copy of messages on the server.
  5. Select Remove from sever after and enter 5 as the number of days. Important: you may exceed your email maximum storage if you leave emails on the server for more than 5 days.
  6. Click OK to save your settings.

Outlook 2003
  1. Select Tools>Email Accounts.
  2. Select View or Change Existing Email Accounts.
  3. Select your email account from the email account list and click Change.
  4. Click More Settings.
  5. Click the Advanced Tab and under Delivery, select Leave a copy of messages on the server. Select Remove from sever after and enter 5 as the number of days. Important: You may exceed email maximum storage if you leave emails on the server for more than 5 days.
  6. Click OK to save your settings.

MS Outlook is a very useful tool.Its system specific.So, we don't need to worry about the size of the mail box.The mails will automatically stored in our machine itself.So, it helps a lot when we are doing the off line works.
